Middle School Test Preparation Material
Dear teachers,
In order to help your students to reduce the anxiety and familiar with the tests, here are the samples and competition formats for all the levels in reading, writing and speaking categories.
Please note: Middle school students will be in separate groups for testing according to the levels they indicated on the registration. *Please make sure each student bring their own computer device and headphones for the Reading and Listening tests. We will not have extra devices available.

Middle School: Speaking
- Students will need to prepare one of the following topics according to their current level.
- Middle School beginner level is for students who take Chinese for less than 1 year.
- Middle School Advanced level is for students who studied Chinese for at least 1 year.
- Students will choose one of the three topics below to present on.
Introductory level :

Me and My Family 我和我的家人
My Friend 我的朋友
Length of the speech: 45 seconds – 1 minute.
Advanced level :
Topics:
My Leisure Time 我的业余时间
My Hobby 我的爱好
Length of the speech: 1 minute – 1.5 minute..
