Dear Students and Parents,
Florida Statewide Chinese Competition (FSCC) is an event dedicated for mainstream middle school and upper school students. It is completely planned and ran by the teachers of participating schools and other members of Florida Chinese Teachers Association (FCTA). We always welcome new members to this Chinese learning community! Please consult with your children's teacher regarding this event. Looking forward to seeing you at the event!
*Participants must be students enrolled in Chinese programs in a public or private/independent schools. (We will not accept applications from students learning Chinese from heritage schools or extracurricular language programs.)
2024 FSCC Students to do list:
(1) Check with your teacher regarding your testing level.
(2) Complete the 2024 Florida Statewide Chinese Competition (FSCC) Student Registration Form online by 1/12/2024
Your online registration is valid only if your teacher approves it. In case your online registration does not approved by your teacher, FSCC will honor the information your teacher provided.
(3) Pay the registration fee $45 to your teacher. The fee is non-refundable. ($45 covers all tests and "Creative Project".)
(4) If signing up "Creative Project Competition" (Submission due Feb 2, 2024)
(a) Read the guidelines and Rubrics:
High school Guidelines and Rubrics (Film)
(Max 5 submissions/teacher/school. Maximum 2 submissions per level.)
Middle School Guidelines and Rubrics (Story Book)
(Max of four products per school and limit two products per level)
Elementary School Guidelines and Rubrics (Poster)
-Category A: (Grade 1-2 students) (Max 4 posters per Category)
-Category B: (Grade 3-4 students) (Max 4 posters per Category)
-Category C: (Grade 5 students) (Max 4 posters per Category)
(b) Complete “FSCC Creative Project Entry and Declaration Form (Parent Consent)” with your parent/legal guardian (Every student must complete one form even if participation is in a group project)
(c) Turn in your creative project to your teacher. Have your teacher submit the project for your group by the due date.
(5) If signing up MS/HS Speaking, and Reading & Listening competition on Friday and Saturday, March 1-2, 2024.

(407) 206-1900 on time to participate. - Each student must bring their own device and headset to participate in the Reading and Listening Competition.
